Merry Christmas 2008

Greetings Fellow Paddlers,

The lake just isn't the same during the Winter months. :) May the Lord bless you all this Christmas. And, just remember Jesus is the real reason for this and every season. Take time to worship Him and know Him better this season, and I promise that this will be your best Christmas ever!

How Not to Launch a Kayak

I have always tried to stay dry while "putting in," and have been pretty successful. So, when I saw the video above, I just had to share it. I'm not recommending this technique. I just laughed my rear-end off watching it. Enjoy.

Trip Through Kansas City, Missouri

This was a short trip from Parksville, MO through Kansas City, MO. At little over 20 miles, this was a great way to spend a Saturday morning. The views of the bridges and the city were totally cool from the Missouri River. The picture in the title (above) was taken on this trip.

Below is one short videoclip, to the worship song "Knowing You."

Just Another Day at the Office...

Just another day at the office...that is if your office is the Mighty MO and your desk is a 12 foot kayak. On my last excursion I paddled a shorter distance, covering 20.5 miles on a Friday morning. I put in at the boat ramp, in Fort Leavenworth, KS and completed the trip at the Riverview Park, in Parkville, MO.

> 79 and sunny

> A light breeze

> A beautiful day
